What we do?

 
 

We offer a surface metalized structured silver technology where the elements are modified to make the silver super efficient at lower percentages. We offer 2 technologies +VE and ++VE.  These cannot be dyed as the silver is on the surface of the substrate.

 

Our +VE surface metalized technology gives the product the natural attributes of being anti-microbial, anti-static, anti-fungal and thermal. Our ++VE surface metalled technology is also  conductive (EMI). These products are superior in our product range. We offer both filament and staple fibers.

 

We also offer a silver based technology SUPR+ where we incorporate pure silver during the co-extrusion process (in the masterbatch) of any man-made fiber (Polyester, Polyamide, Polypropylene, …) It is also not nanotechnology, it is pure silver.  SUPR+ can be dyed as the silver is blended with the substrate.

+VE AND ++VE ARE permanent coatingS of pure silver on to a textile substrate. It retains all the characteristics of the substrate and hence can be used in any textile-related application with ease.

  • +VE is anti-bacterial. anti-fungal and anti-viral and is used in infection control in hospitals and advance wound care.

  • +VE and ++VE have multiple added values benefits including thermal regulation in both warm and cold conditions.

  • ++VE is also anti-static, EMI shielding and electrical conductivity apart from the anti-microbial benefits. ++VE is used in high end electronics as EMI/ESD gaskets, in conductive applications in clean room settings and smart garments

  • Hence +VE and ++VE are not a one-dimensional technology but a multi-dimensional, single delivery system.

 

SUPR+ IS AN INFUSION OF PURE SILVER INTO A POLYMERE. IT RETAINS ALL THE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE SUBSTRATE AND HENCE CAN BE USED IN ANY TEXTILE-RELATED APPLICATION WITH EASE.

  • SUPR+ benefits are antibacterial and anti-odor.

  • SUPR+ can be dyed as is therefor ideal for using it in clothing.

  • Hence SUPR+ is not a one-dimensional technology but a multi-dimensional, single delivery system.

  • SUPR+ uses Polyamide, Polyester or Polypropylene as delivery system

SUPRLABS ionic technology: How IT works?

Ionisation: Electron release of the silver “works on an intra-cellular level, disrupting the DNA of micro- organisms on the fabric and effectively suffocating microbial activity.”

 

Why is IT so effective?

Catalysts. it becomes more effective in a specific environments, as a bacteria killer it can be enforced by these special conditions.

Natural element: it is made with 99.99% pure silver, a naturally occurring element.

Anti-odor. The silver yarn inhibits the growth of odor producing bacteria. The silver ions also bind with ammonia and denatured proteins, resulting in bacterial odor reduction.

Electrostatic Charge Dissipater (including the Corona effect). Silver is the most electrically conductive element. The pure silver yarn in the product instantly dissipates naturally generated electrostatic charge and helps the end user to remain comfortable.

Thermo Regulation. Besides eliminating bacteria and odor, silver is thermally the most conductive and reflective element. Conduction, the primary cause of body heat loss in hot temperatures, is accelerated due to the conductivity of the fibre. It will help regulate temperatures. When used in sheeting, for example, it will help to keep the body cool in warm climates and warm in cool climates.

Permanent. it is not a surface treatment. Silver is irreversibly bound to a polymer as a physical part of the fiber. it is permanent and performance does not diminish over time. It been tested for more than 100 washes with virtually no reduction in anti-microbial performance.

Anti-fungal. it interferes with the reproductive sequence in fungal spore, which acts on the fabric structure to break down the textiles and reduce the functionality and performance of the fabric.

It is a safe product. Silver has been used for centuries. Silver is used by the NASA to purify the water on the space stations.

 

It is a long lasting product. The ion release is sustained in the presence of a stimuli and hence last a very long time.

SUPRLABS Formats

Our products are available in many forms and formats from filament yarns, staple, chopped fibers, fabrics, foam as direct raw material to end user.

Physival formats are filaments, spun yarns, cut fibers, twisted yarns, foams, woven fabrics and non woven fabrics. It is possible to process +VE into woven or knitted fabrics. Also, cut fibers can be put in resin and adhesives. Pure Silver can also be incorporated during the co-extrusion process of any man-made fiber. It is not nanotechnology or any complex chemical formula, it is pure silver.

Additionally, we offer finished products such as socks, water treatment related products, bed sheets, T-Shirts, underwear, masks, diapers, sanitary pads etc.

  • SUPRLABS manufactured products are very durable and can be laundered multiple times without loss of properties
